Designed for performance vehicles with electrical demands beyond a standard factory alternator, the Black Series delivers higher output at lower alternator speeds to support demanding street and performance applications.

Ideal for vehicles running dual thermo fans, EFI, air conditioning, electric power steering, upgraded lighting and other electrical accessories. Its low-speed charging performance helps support these loads at idle while maintaining battery charge.

Charging output varies with alternator speed, temperature and installation. The 240A rating is not the output at idle.

All Black Series alternators have been amperage rated Hot and Cold.

Example:

• 13.5V @ 125A Cold - Cold is the alternator rectifier at 40ºc (maximum output)

• 13.5V @ 110A Hot - Hot is the alternator rectifier running at 96ºc for ½ hour (normal operating condition
