Containing 8, 10, 12, 14, 16, 18 and 20 mm 320-grit silicon-carbide ball hones, this kit is ideal for small hydraulic cylinders, master cylinders, slave cylinders, calipers and other small-bore repair work where a controlled surface refresh is required.
 
The flexible ball-hone design follows the bore and helps remove light glazing while producing an even crosshatch finish. Each hone is 300 mm overall length for easy drill use and reach.

Ball hones are intended for light deglazing and surface refreshing only. They are not a substitute for precision boring and honing equipment. Always measure the bore, follow the piston-ring manufacturer’s finish requirements, use suitable honing lubricant, and thoroughly clean the bore before assembly.
